Cutting hedges and windbreaks is often a major challenge for both the human body and the hedge trimmer, but Elkær trimmer bars make the task easier than ever.
They can be mounted on garden and park machines, compact machines, lightweight tool carriers as well as large tool carriers for maintaining and cutting all types of hedges and windbreaks.
Our trimmer bars can handle horizontal, diagonal and vertical cuts and are available in working widths from 130 to 300 cm. They can also handle branch thicknesses up to 90 mm.

Mount the new Elkaer Termit HK1300-3 hedge cutter at a big lawn mower – e.g. a Stiga Park/Titan or Husqvarna TD26. – and get rid of unhealthy working positions. It is often seen that hedge cutting causes challenges both for the physics and the machine, but the Elkaer Termit makes it easy as never before. The HK1300-3 trimmer bar is very flexible and you can cut both on left and right side of the tool carrier if you combine the trimmer bar with our small Termite reach arm. In this combination it easily cuts both vertical, horizontal and tilted lines from the ground level and up to 3,5 meters. The HK1500-5 Trimmer Bar has been developed especially for the use on ‚compact machines’ or mini-loaders. The Trimmer Bar is well suited to trim lighter hedges of up to a branch thickness of 50mm.
The HK1500-5 has a working width of 150cm and can fx. be combined with the HKL Mini frame for loaders or the HK Pro Reach Arm for maximal flexibility. The HK1500-5 delivers clean cuts, even on the smallest twigs.
The separate knive-blades are bolted onto the Trimmer Bar, providing an easy way of maintenance, when single blades need replacement due to wear.

The HK2000-5 trims hedges with branches of up to 50mm in diameter. It is suitable for the seasonal maintenance of all hedge-types. This Trimmer Bar can be combined with a variety of Elkær front-loader frames and reach arms, or fx. on the arm of excavators. The single knive blades are easy replaced, because the blades are bolted, not riveted. The HK2000-5 is a very flexible Trimmer Bar for trimming hedges, bushes and trees, with all around trimming capabilities and the work is done without any additional effort or cost.
The HK2500-5 is a special development, which is suitable for applications demanding an extremely light Trimmer Bar.
The HK2500-5 trims lighter hedges, fx. Thuja- and Beech-hedges with great results. The HK2500-5 has an unparalleled weight to cutting-width ratio, thus making it possible to work width a great working width on light carriers. The HK2500-3 Trimmer Bar is also finds its use in plantations, for an effective and labour-saving way of pruning of fruit-trees.

This is a very robust trimmer bar enabling you to cut branches of up to 90mm in diameter.
It is well suited to maintain thick hedges along forest paths or just hedges that have not been cut for a couple of seasons.
