Elkær offers a complete range of tool frames for maintaining fences, roads, hedges, etc. A total of 6 models are available, all of which can be front or rear mounted.
The series covers a wide range of applications and we offer tool frames in many different sizes and versions. All the models are extremely flexible, so they can be equipped with a trimmer bar, branch saw or multitrimmer depending on the specific task. The series starts with the Termit frame, which can be mounted on small compact tractors and mowers, through to the professional HK Max frame for the three-point linkage found on tractors.

The HK Pro tool frame is the ideal choice, if you need a relatively light, but very robust tool frame for front and rear mounting on compact tractors of medium size. The HK Pro may carry trimmer bars, such as the HK1500-5, the HK2500-3 and the HS1750 saw. Your choice of a trimmer bar or a saw should depend on the maximum branch diameter of the hedge and your preferred working speed. The HK Pro allows you to work on both sides of the tractor, while giving you a reach of 4.5 m vertically and 3.5 m horizontally. In addition the HK pro can turn the trimmer bar or saw in a 220° hydraulic rotation, which provides you with
even more flexibility. The HK Pro is a relatively small and compact, yet powerful and versatile tool frame.
The HK Ex frame has advanced maneuvering qualities when you need to maintain branches in tall hedges or want to keep a straight top line of the edge itself.
The trimmer bar can be varied infinitely up to 195° which enables you to work with a horizontal angle. Moreover, you can traverse the trimmer bar up to 90° of the direction of work, thus allowing you to maintain this direction even when the frame is turned forward. In this way you will be able to reach in between the trees for cutting single branches if needed.

The robust construction makes the HK Pro-X capable of carrying a weight of 500 kg, even when the tool frame is in its maximum reach position – i.e. 5 meters vertically and 4.5 meters horizontally. The HK Pro-X has an unparalleled performance, thus letting you focus on the job, and not the functional limitations of the working tool. And it still provides you with the needed flexibility. The Pro-X may work on both sides of the tractor and the mounted tool can be rotated 220°.
The HK Pro-X can be front or rear mounted directly onto the three-point-hitch of the tractor and it can be combined with all saws and trimmer bars from our product range.
HK Max is a multifunctional tool frame that has been designed with an extra PTO and three-point linkage at the rear, thus enabling you to combine the frame with a trimmer and a mulcher at the same time. This means that you are able to cut the hedge and crush the waste material in one single process. Moreover, the HK Max is equipped with an electronic adjustment device that ensures the hedge is trimmed evenly although the terrain is uneven. Finally, via the joystick you are able to adjust and set the desired angle of the trimmer.
