The construction with the offset blades and the huge working width ensures a high very high work speed, with the ability to cut most hedges and trees in just one run, without the need to go over the work area more than once. The HS3800 combines with the reach arms HK Ex, HK Pro-X or HK Max, and powerful reach arms from other manufacturers.
When we developed the HS5000 saw, we had a clear goal in sight: to provide a saw with an unmatched reach-to-weight ratio.
The HS5000 has been carefully designed for this purpose, thus supplying you with the combination of a large working width, and a low weight of the saw itself. Traditional hedge-saws have been constructed from the principle of providing a working width equal to the number of saw blades equipped. But this is not the case with the HS5000 – providing a working width of 500cm, with the use of 2x Ø800mm sawblades. This way you are able to trim hedges in just one go, whereas today one often ahs to repeat the trimming 2-3 times in order to get the job done properly.
